Lessons for the beginners to Advance Hunter/Jumper are available.

Sue Mauro - Sue graduated from Merdith Manor with a degree in the equestrian field.  She has been teaching riding lessons for 24 years with great sucess.  She has taken students and horses from beginner level to A rated showing.  Her students have qualified and shown at Indoors (Harrisburg, PA), Pony Finals, and Zone 2 Hunter Finals.  Her students have won many division championships in the Syracuse Chapter PHA as well as national awards. She is co-owner of Canalside Stables with Debbie Derleth.  In addition, Sue owns The Barn Door tack shop and is an officer in the Syracuse Chapter of PHA. 

Deb Derleth - Debbie has been professionally riding for 15 years and teaching lessons for 13.  She has won many division championships in the Syracuse PHA circuit.  She has also qualified and participated in Indoors at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.  Debbie has had students qualify and participate in Pony Finals, Zone 2 Hunter Finals, and Junior Hunter Finals.  She has taken horses form breaking all the way to the Second Year Green Hunters.  Debbie is a co-owner of Canalside Stables with Sue Mauro.    

Nicole Santillo - Nicole has recentlly become a member of the Canalside staff.  She has been riding and training with Sue and Debbie for over 13 years.  Nicole graduated from Suny Geneseo in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Education.  Nicole successfully competed as a junior and amateur rider in the Syracuse PHA horse shows.  She has also shown in the intercollegiate circuit.  Nicole has developed a strong passion for teaching riding lessons and we welcome her to the team.
